Your morning tour begins in Old Delhi, the former Mughal city of Shahjahanabad, exploring vibrant market lanes, old mansions, and colourful neighbourhoods. Navigate Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw, witnessing the sale of spices, brassware, antiques, jewellery, and perfumes. Visit the ornate Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, drive past the Red Fort, and visit Raj Ghat.
In the afternoon, explore New Delhi, showcasing modern India’s story with open spaces, government buildings, museums, and wide avenues. Drive by Rashtrapati Bhawan, Raj Path, and India Gate. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutab Minar and conclude with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb built by the Mughals in India.

Drive to Agra after breakfast, renowned for its Mughal architecture, taking approximately 4 hours. In the afternoon, explore the imposing red sandstone battlements of Agra Fort, including the impressive Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas halls.
Later in the evening, visit the famous Taj Mahal at sunset for fantastic photo opportunities. This magnificent marble monument, built in memory of Mumtaz Mahal, showcases elaborate geometric forms and intricate inlay work.

Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar is the first place you visit today before proceeding to the pink city of Jaipur. The city was once the capital of the Mughal empire and includes a stunning mosque, which is still in use today.

Start your day with a scenic walk around Lockhart Estate, offering stunning views of green tea fields.
After breakfast, embark on a 2-3 hour tea plantation walk in Lockhart Estate. Learn tea leaf picking with locals, witness the weighing process, and explore one of the oldest tea factories in the region, constructed by the British in 1936. A guide will lead you through the entire tea leaf processing journey, concluding with a tasting of freshly made tea.
The afternoon is free to explore the town or visit Eravikulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Thar species.

After breakfast, we will drive through the winding ghat roads for around 3 – 4 hours to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, South India’s best-kept Tiger reserve. On the way, we will stop at a plantation bungalow for a meal with a local family.
Enjoy a spice plantation visit with an expert who will introduce you to different spices grown in that area such as cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pepper and vanilla.
