On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel which will take about 60 minutes.

Begin the morning tour in Old Delhi exploring vibrant market lanes, old havelis, and colourful neighborhoods. Navigate Chandni Chowk on a cycle rickshaw through spice-laden gallis. Visit the ornate Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, then drive past the Red Fort and explore Raj Ghat.
In the afternoon, discover New Delhi’s modern narrative with open spaces, government buildings, and museums. Drive by Rashtrapati Bhawan, Raj Path, and India Gate and end the day’s tour with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, the first Mughal garden tomb in India.

We will visit the formidable red sandstone battlements of the Agra Fort and its impressive Diwan-e-Am & Diwan-e-Khas Hall in the afternoon.
It’s time to visit the iconic Taj Mahal to see this beautiful monument at sunset. Built in memorial of Mumtaz Mahal, Mughal emperor Shah Jahan’s beloved wife, this magnificent building is made entirely of marble and decorated with elaborate geometric forms and inlay work that showcases plants, flower and fruit motifs.

After breakfast you will begin your journey towards the Pink City of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. There is also a lunch stop at Bharatpur and a visit to the 9th-century step wells at Abhaneri.

This morning, a jeep will take us up to the stunning 17th century Amer Fort amidst the rugged hills outside the city for striking views of the gorges and lake. Inside the fort, see the extensive Maharaja’s apartments decorated with murals and mosaics as well as the glistening Hall of Mirrors.
In the afternoon, we drive through the colourful bazaars to see the Hawa Mahal or ‘Palace of Winds’, built for royal ladies to catch a glimpse of the outside world through delicate screened windows and balconies. Then there’s a visit to the Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory built by Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur and a passionate astronomer and builder. We will also visit the City Palace complex’s collection of rare manuscripts, armoury and costumes.

After breakfast, a 4-5 hour drive brings us to Bikaner. An atmospheric medieval city in the Thar Desert, Bikaner is often used as a pit stop while traveling from Jaipur to Jaisalmer. It was once a major centre in the cross-desert caravan trade.

We will visit the Junagarh Fort this morning to see the extensive collection of royal costumes, armours and artefacts including Mughal Emperor Akbar’s original sword. Later we drive to Bikaner’s biggest attraction, the National Research Centre on Camel which breeds and nurtures camels. In the evening, enjoy authentic Marwari cuisine at Narendra Bhawan or the nearby by Laxmi Vilas Palace.

Today’s adventure takes us south west into the Thar Desert to the medieval town of Jaisalmer, which takes around five hours. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone dominates the amber-hued city. Jaisalmer was a frequent pit-stop on the silk route from China to the Middle East and thrived on the caravans laden with precious silks, spices, ornaments and precious stones.

We begin our day with a visit to Jaisalmer Fort, also known as the Golden Fort due to its distinctive golden hued stones. Sitting atop Trikuta Hills, the Fort commands spectacular views of the desert landscape in all directions. Marvel at the intricately carved havelis of local merchants, most of which date back to between the 12th and 15th centuries. We will also explore the richly carved Jain temples and the sacred Gadisar tank.
In the evening, we will drive to the outskirts of Jaisalmer for a camel safari through the desert and enjoy a spectacular sunset at the sand dunes.

After breakfast, a 5-hour drive through countryside will take us to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur.
Sightseeing includes a visit to the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, perched on top of a hill overlooking the sea of blue buildings below and the Jaswant Thada cenotaph. Later, take a stroll through the old town witnessing daily life within the colourful narrow streets.

This morning, enjoy a visit to Bishnoi village. Journey through the village by open jeep and enjoy the rare privilege of being welcomed into the local people’s homes with the famous opium ceremony – a traditional welcome ritual. The afternoon is free to explore the city, and a great opportunity to investigate Jodhpur’s shopping scene, with the clock tower market being a highlight for souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a culinary session followed by a traditional meal with a local family.

After a leisurely morning in jodhpur, we venture into the rural landscapes of Rajasthan. After a three-hour journey, we will arrive at the village of Narlai, nestled between open desert and the Aravalli hills.
Serene Rawla Narlai offers a splendid view of a magnificent single volcanic rock of granite measuring 350 feet in height, and is dotted with caves and temples, and crowned by a statue of a white elephant.
Narlai’s rugged Godward countryside is an ideal habitat for leopards, and you can join naturalists to witness these magnificent creatures basking on the rocks. Tonight, embark on an exhilarating jeep ride for a chance to spot these beautiful and graceful cats.
