Sarchu Tented Camp, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh
Discover Sarchu Tented Camp
Set against the rugged, barren mountains, Sarchu Tented Camp is located at high-altitude (4,290m) and is a necessary overnight stop when travelling overland between Manali and Leh. The ensuite tents are stitched out of waterproof canvas and provide superb views of the surrounding Sarchu valley.
Facilities at Sarchu Tented Camp include a dining room serving Indian as well as Ladakhi cuisine. The perfect way to end the day is by stargazing amidst the clear night skies.
Please note: Although the tents feature double-layered groundsheets to make them as windproof as possible, the strong winds and high altitude can have an impact on sleep quality and comfort, so please consider this before booking.
The camp electricity is provided by diesel generators from 6am – 8am and 6pm – 11pm. Guests are not permitted to use high current devices such as hairdryers, but there is a central charging area for mobile phones.
