Touphema is located about 41 km from Kohima, capital of Nagaland. Home to Angami tribes, Touphema village offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. The visitors are offered warm Naga hospitality which include guided walk to nearby peaks or rice fields, hunting trips, cultural expeditions and visits to local homes. The festival of purification of the Angami tribe ‘Sekrenyi’, is celebrated annually in this village from 25 to 27 of February.
