Ganga Arti
Don’t miss the chance to witness the Ganga Arti that takes place every day at the Har Ki Pauri ghat in Haridwar. It is a ritual of light and sound where priests perform prayers with bowls of fire to the accompaniment of temple bells. Visitors float small candles called “diyas” and flowers, while devotees chant mantras and lights reflect off the surface of the flowing river, said to be blessed by the Goddess Ganga.
