Birethani, Nepal

Discover Birethanti

The small village of Birethanti lies across the bridge at a foothill at roughly 1,100 metres in the Modi Khola Valley. The town was once one of the most important destinations on the Annapurna Circuit treks, but its prominence has faded since the road was built within a few hours’ walk.

Even while it is no longer the bustling trekkers’ centre it once was, it nevertheless boasts several little tea shops and souvenir vendors.

A stroll through the village is a great chance to see the lives of the locals, along with mule trains driving up from the valley, to bring supplies to the local communities
