Built in 1862 by East India Company tradesman Murdoch Brown, Ayisha Manzil is an eco-friendly cliff top homestay, with beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. This simple hotel is full of character and offers spacious rooms where the history of the property has been lovingly preserved. A private swimming pool offers guests the chance to relax whilst the cuisine reflects the local culture with an emphasis on fresh seafood.

- Explore the famous Spice Market which has great historical significance
- Visit the Parassinikadavu temple. This famous temple is a beautiful place to learn and explore the rich Hindu ritual called ‘theyyam’
- Learn about the handloom weaving units and how the clothes are woven in the old method using shuttle weaves
- Take a look into the local Beedi rolling units. The locally available small cigarettes are hand-rolled by the beedi rolling men out of the dried Tendu leaves
- Visit the Muzhapilangad drive-in beach
- Discover one of the many forts built to protect the area
