School Estate, Kodagu (Coorg), Karnataka
Discover the School Estate
School Estate is a boutique homestay in Kodagu, formerly the home of 19th-century missionary Reverend Richter. Your hosts the Aiyappas will welcome you to this gorgeous estate with manicured gardens and luscious plantations, where bird song and freshly brewed coffee will wake you from a restful sleep.
Experience wonderful traditional and continental cooking in an alfresco under a bottle brush tree, in a sunken garden or at a century-old pool table. Many ingredients are sourced from the estate, such as spices and fresh cream, and each cup of coffee is made using coffee beans handpicked from the plantation.
Watch the world go (slowly) by as you relax on a couch overlooking the garden or snuggle up in a hammock under a tree. When it’s time to retire to your room, you’ll be treated with amazing views from every window.
